The Cooperative
Members and Board of Directors

A strong sense of belonging
Vallée Bras-du-Nord is a solidarity cooperative that brings together employees (worker-members), tourism service providers (producer-members), and landowners who grant rights of way (supporting members). Its board of directors is made up of 11 members, representing all three categories. This structure enables participatory governance rooted in the land, reflecting the principles of sustainable tourism by promoting local autonomy and resource preservation.
All members share a common commitment to responsible management and high-quality development. As a result, the local community maintains greater control over the growth of tourism in the Valley, while employees, partners, and the broader community experience a strong sense of ownership and belonging. Because each member contributes to a shared vision of the territory, this model creates a coherent and supportive ecosystem — one that fosters a regenerative tourism dynamic, where tourism growth goes hand in hand with a renewed connection between people and their environment.

Rights of way
From the very beginning of the Vallée Bras-du-Nord's development, we have been supported by the local population, who believed in the project.
Visionary landowners and trustworthy people who have authorized a right-of-way for trail development on their land.
And so, over time, we've built up this vast network of trails. Without the community support and open-mindedness of these owners, our development would never be what it is today. We salute the important contribution of these people and thank them from the bottom of our hearts. They are, in their own way, the builders of our unique ecotourism cooperative. Thank you all and long live these agreements.
