Introduction
At Vallée Bras-du-Nord, we welcome electric-assist bikes (eBikes) as a tool for inclusion and discovery, allowing more people to experience nature and adventure.
Our goal : to preserve the exceptional quality of our trails while maintaining fair and sustainable access for all users.
New eBike Pricing
Starting with the 2026season, a specific pricing structure for electric-assist bikes will take effect.
This measure has been implemented in alignment with other major mountain bike centers in Québec, such as Empire 47 and Sentiers du Moulin, to reflect the particular demands of eBike use:
-
eBikes typically cover more kilometers per ride,
-
The motor’s power can accelerate wear on certain trail segments,
-
More maintenance is required to maintain the network’s quality.
The goal is not to restrict use, but to ensure the longevity and quality of the trail network for everyone.
Additional revenue from this pricing adjustment will be reinvested directly into trail maintenance and improvements.
Democratizing the Outdoors
We recognize that for many, electric-assist biking is much more than a performance choice — it’s a means of inclusion, enabling people to ride despite challenges related to health, age, or physical condition.
Because making the outdoors accessible to everyone remains at the heart of our mission, Vallée Bras-du-Nord commits to reviewing individual situations where this pricing could represent a barrier to participation.
If you believe you are affected, please write to us at programmeaccessibilite@brasdunord.com.
Every request will be handled with respect, confidentiality, and care.
