The Shannahan sector is the Vallée in its wildest form. Just 20 minutes from Saint-Raymond, the mountain biking trails take you deep into the boreal forest, skillfully laid out across glacial hills, along towering cliffs, rivers, waterfalls, and cascades. Beginners and experts alike can easily spend at least two amazing days exploring the area.

River
These intermediate to advanced mountain biking trails wind through the alluvial terrace of the majestic Bras-du-Nord River, unveiling breathtaking viewpoints at every turn and offering full immersion in a truly exceptional natural environment. The River sector stands out as a must-ride destination for anyone seeking a serious introduction to the epic, technical, and untamed experience that earned Vallée Bras-du-Nord its international reputation. Experienced riders will enjoy the more challenging segments, the winding forest passages, and the varied terrain that give this network its unique character. Don’t forget to take a well-deserved break at the stunning Chute à Gilles — the perfect spot to catch your breath and soak in the moment!
Enduro
Thrill-seekers, get ready to experience the true essence of advanced mountain biking! With its long, sustained, and winding climb, L’Aurore delivers a smooth yet demanding S-shaped ascent leading to a panoramic summit that rewards every pedal stroke. La Boréale offers a fast and flowing descent, dotted with jumps, sharp drops, narrow bridges, and natural terrain features — an exhilarating playground for riders chasing adrenaline. La Légende, true to its name, ranks among Québec’s most epic trails, known for its breathtaking scenery, demanding layout, powerful flow, and unforgettable finish. A ride that leaves its mark on all who dare to take it on. The double black diamond option, for experts only, leads to unavoidable obstacles including steep rock slabs, jumps, and drops that should be carefully studied before attempting.
Old School
Beginner or expert, push your limits in the Old School sector — the go-to spot for cross-country mountain biking enthusiasts. This area features technical trails with a classic, natural layout that puts your riding skills and endurance to the test. Build your foundational abilities or refine your technique in the Pratique-toi skills zone, a safe and well-equipped area designed to help you progress with confidence. After all, you're never too old to learn new tricks and level up on your bike.
Gravity
The Gravity sector is a true playground for downhill mountain biking enthusiasts, featuring bike park–style trails designed for speed, style, and thrills. You’ll find built jumps, berms, progression features, and technical sections tailored for riders with solid bike-handling skills. Godzilla, the most advanced trail in the sector, is reserved for experienced riders looking for sustained challenges. Octopus and Kraken offer ideal alternatives for those wanting to improve their technique and ride with more flow. A perfect place to embrace gravity — where bike control meets the pure joy of downhill riding.
Neilson
Get ready to experience the epic and awe-inspiring adventure of the Neilson Trilogy, one of the most iconic sets of mountain biking trails in the region. Reserved for seasoned riders, this loop offers a perfect mix of technical challenges and breathtaking natural scenery. Experienced cyclists will be thrilled by the complex terrain and the incredible variety of landscapes, each more stunning than the last. The Neilson trails have played a major role in building Vallée Bras-du-Nord’s international reputation — come see why! Neilson East delivers a fast, natural descent that puts your skills to the test. Following the Bras-du-Nord River, Neilson North offers spectacular views of the water and surrounding cliffs. It’s the ultimate Vallée experience. But take note — roots and rocks are plentiful and demand full attention. The return via Neilson South, which also runs along the river, offers a wilder yet much shorter ride, with a quick and technical downhill section.
St-Raymond Sector
Located right in the heart of downtown, the Saint-Raymond sector offers nearly 30 km of narrow and well-designed mountain biking trails, spread across three small, countryside-style mountains. This network features a dynamic mix of short climbs and smooth descents — perfect for a ride that’s quick yet intense.
Designed for intermediate to advanced riders, this sector offers full immersion in nature while remaining easily accessible. At the end of your ride, a well-deserved pint awaits you at Le Roquemont microbrewery, conveniently located right at the trail’s end.

Mont-Laura
Directly accessible from the Roquemont and Frenette Bicyclettes parking lot, Mont-Laura is our most quickly accessible—and most playful—mountain biking sector! Perfect for a quick ride or a smooth warm-up, this little gem offers a series of short, repeat climbs and descents. At the summit, a charming chapel provides a breathtaking view of Saint-Raymond. One to discover… again and again!
Echo des Juliens
Perfect for cross-country enthusiasts, this immersive trail winds through the forest right on the edge of downtown Saint-Raymond. A surprising bike escape where you can rack up the kilometers without ever touching pavement! With its accessible trails, Écho des Juliens is ideal for getting in the miles, staying in shape, and disconnecting in a peaceful, green setting.
Montagne du Suisse
The Montagne du Suisse is perfect for a quick ride packed with fun and flow. This sector features short, playful trails that are ideal for picking up speed, honing your cornering skills, and even catching some air—at your own pace! The countryside setting, complete with grazing cows from landowner Mr. Eggen, adds a unique charm to the experience. Don’t miss the iconic Tablerone, a must for jump lovers. Follow it up with Hulk Eggen for even more fun!
