Vallée Bras-du-Nord’s territory is one of the most vast networks of hiking trails in Québec. From short to longer trails, its pathways are filled with quiet, breath taking viewpoints. They offer a wide range of nature experiences for both kids and adults.

  • More than 80 kilometers of marked out pathways, accessible all year round.
  • Beginner, intermediate and expert level trails.
  • 8 shelters spread out on the whole territory, and many more accommodations.

All the trails are not stroller friendly due to the roots and rocks.

Please notice that the Shannahan welcome centre is closed from Monday to Thursday, between November and mid-May, except on the holidays and school break.

 

IF IT'S YOUR FIRST VISIT,  we strongly recommend that you stop by our main welcome centre to pay your access fee. This centre is opened 7 days a week. You will be able to get all the necessary information and we will give you a detailed map of the territory.

A main attraction, this pathway is a definite classic for hikers. The steep cliff features stairs made of rocks, a true work of art created by mountain climbers that takes you from breath taking spots to another until the top. Once on the mountain top, the trail seems a bit more tame and leads to Falaises shelter, where you can watch Delaney Fall from the other side. On Cap Bédard, plains and small valleys reach the St-Lawrence River and the South Shore. click here for more information.
